How come my dog never plays with her toys?

We buy her all kinds of stuff from bones to balls so she won’t be bored. The only thing she plays with are some old bath toys I used to use. The are like 3 years old and I don’t like seeing her play with them. She plays with them every now and then but never her other toys. She only plays with her rawhides. She doesn’t look at those other toys twice. She has this thing for pencils though.

What toys can I make for my cat to play with using house hold items?

My cat is nearly 3 years old ( in November) and she gets lonely and bored alot of times when I’m busy and can’t play or pet her. She doesn’t like marbles or balls, she grew out of them, and I want to make her her own toy she could play with on her own and have fun. I can’t buy any toys because my parents won’t take me but I really want to make her something special so she won’t be bored and lonely. But she’s afraid of almost everything so it can’t be that big.

What are good toys for a hyper indoor cat?

My cat loves to play! She shreds up and tries to eat any toys with feathers, so I can’t use those anymore. I let her play with little jingly balls during the day, and she loves them so much, but they’re too noisy for night time. And she really loves to play at night. She doesn’t seem to care too much for catnip filled toys. Any suggestions for a quieter toy that she might like to play with at night?
